Scriptures Of The Week

So week by week I will just make an archive of all the scriptures of the week since the site has started!

Week 1 - July 11-17
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye love one to another. John 13:34 (KJV)
Week 2 - July 18-24
The LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies. Isaiah 42:13 (KJV)
Week 3 - July 25-31
Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers,
That the God of our LORD Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. Ephesians 1:16-17 (KJV)
Week 4 - August 1-7
The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me. Psalm 118:6-7 (KJV)
Week 5 - August 8-14
And so, dear brothers, I plead with you to give your bodies to God. Let them be a living sacrifice, holy–the kind he can accept. When you think of what he has done for you, is this too much to ask? Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but be a new and different person with a fresh newness in all you do and think. Then you will learn from your own experience how his ways will really satisfy you. Romans 12:1-2 (The Living Bible Paraphrased)
Week 6 - August 15-21
“Obey the laws of the Lord your God. Walk in His ways and fear Him. For the Lord Your God is bringing you into a good land of brooks, pools, gushing springs, valleys, hills; it is a land of wheat and barely, of grape vines, fig trees, pomegranates, olives, and honey; it is a land where food is plentiful, and nothing is lacking; it is a land where iron is as common as stone, and copper is abundant in the hills. When you have eaten your fill, bless the Lord Your God for the good land He has given you.
But that is the time to be careful! Beware that in your plenty you don’t forget the Lord Your God and begin to disobey Him. For when you have become full and prosperous and have built fine homes to live in, and when your flocks and herds have become very large, and your silver and gold have multiplied, that is the time to watch out that you don’t become proud, and forget the Lord Your God who brought you out of your slavery in the land of Egypt. Deuteronomy 8:6-14 (The Living Bible Paraphrased)
Week 7 - August 22-28
So this week instead of putting a Scripture, I decided to write a poem.

Psalms, Poems, Songs, and Quotes
They all encourage to help us through,
All talking about the Messiah that has come,
He has set us free from this misery,
But He says it won’t be easy,
It requires surrender and dying to self,
Asking what He wants, and not to please our self,
This is 10x easier said than done,
But if we want Heaven on earth,
Then Thy will be done.

Week 8 - August 29-Sept 4

Then spoke Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, you stand still upon Gibeon; and you, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.

And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.

And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the LORD hearkened(listened) unto the voice of a man: for the LORD fought for Israel.

Joshua 10:12-14(KJV)

Week 9 - Sept 5-11
“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?

How can you say to your brother, “Let me take the speck out of your eye”, when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?”

You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.”

Matthew 7:1-5(KJV)

Week 10 - Sept. 12-18
And when you spread forth your hands, I will hide my eyes from you: yea, when you make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.

Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doing from before my eyes; cease to do evil;

Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

Come now, and let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

If you be willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land:

But if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD has spoken it.

Isaiah 1:15-20(KJV)

Week 11 - Sept. 19-25
And though the LORD give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not your teachers be removed into a corner any more, but your eyes shall see your teachers:

And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, This is the way, you walk in it, when you turn to the right hand, and when you turn to the left.

You shall defile also the covering of your graven images of silver, and the ornament of your molten images of gold: you shall cast them away as amenstruous cloth; you shall say unto it, Get thee hence (from this place)

Isaiah 30:20-22(KJV)

Week 12 Sept. 26-Oct.2

Hearken unto me now therefore, Oh you children, and attend to the words of my mouth.

Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.

Proverbs 7:24-27(KJV)

and to depart from evil is understanding.

Job 28:28(KJV)

Week 15 Oct.17-23
The sun shall be no more your light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto you: but the LORD shall be unto you an everlasting light, and your God your glory.

Your sun shall no more go down; neither your moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be your everlasting light, and your days of mourning shall be ended

Isaiah 60:19-20(KJV)

Week 16 Oct. 23-30

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord!

Romans 6:23 (KJV)

Week 17 Oct 31 - Nov. 6
The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den.

They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

Isaiah 11:6-9 (KJV)

Week 18 Nov. 7-13

Psalm 33
Verse 1-4

Rejoice in the LORD, O you righteous: for praise is comely for the upright
Praise the LORD with the harp: sing unto Him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.

Sing unto Him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.

For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth!

Week 19 Nov. 14-20

Isaiah 1:18-20
Come now, let us reason together, saith the LORD:
though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

If you be willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land:

But if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD has spoken it!

Week 20 Nov. 21-27

Forgot to change it this week! — Sorry Lord! :P
Week 21 Nov. 28-Dec. 4

Isaiah 64:6-8
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
And there is none that calls upon Your name, that stirs up himself to take hold of you: for you have hid your face from us, and have consumed us, because of our iniquities.

But now, O LORD, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You our potter; and we all are the work of your hand.

Week 22 Dec. 5-11

Isaiah 42:16
And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.

Psalm 31:1-3
In You, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in your righteousness

For You are my rock and my fortress; therefore for Your name’s sake lead me, and guide me.

Week 24 Dec. 19-25

Mark 6:10-11
And He said unto them, In what place soever you enter into a house, there abide till you depart from that place.
And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when you depart from that place, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, it shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

Week 25 Dec. 26 - Jan. 1

Ezekiel 18:29-32
Yet said the house of Israel, The way of the Lord is not equal. O house of Israel, are not my ways equal? Are not your ways unequal?
Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, everyone according to his ways, said the Lord God. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.

Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby you have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will you die, O house of Israel?

For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dies, said the Lord God: wherefore turn yourselves, and you live.

Week 26 Jan. 2-8

Jeremiah 16:19-21
O Lord, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto You from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.
Shall a man make gods unto himself, and they are no gods?

Therefore, behold, I will cause them to know this, I will cause them to know My Hand and my might; and they shall know that my name is The LORD.

Week 27 Jan 9-15

1 Corinthians 13:11-13

Week 30 Jan. 30-Feb.5

Ezekiel 16:59-63
For thus said the Lord God; I will even deal with you as you have done, which has despised the oath in breaking the covenant.
Nevertheless I will remember my covenant with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish unto you an everlasting covenant.

Then you shall remember your ways, and be ashamed, when you shall receive your sisters, your elder and your younger: and I will give them unto you for daughters, but not by your covenant.

And I will establish my covenant with you, and you shall know that I am the Lord:

That you may remember, and be confounded, and never open your mouth any more because of your shame, when I am pacified toward you for all that you have done, said the Lord

Week 31 Feb. 6-12

Jeremiah 15:14-15
Therefore do not listen unto the words of the prophets that speak unto you, saying you shall not serve the king of Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you.
For I have not sent them, says the Lord, yet they prophesy a lie in my name; that I might drive you out, and that you might perish, you, and the prophets that prophesy unto you.
Week 32 Feb. 13-19

Psalm 78:1-4
Give ear, O my people to my law: incline your ears to the words of my mouth.
I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:

Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us.

We will not hide them from their children, showing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and His strength, and His wonderful works that He has done.

Week 33 Feb. 20-28

2 Chronicles 20:15-17
And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you king Jehoshaphat, Thus says the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s
Tomorrow you go down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and you shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel.

You shall not need to fight in this battle; set yourselves, you stand still and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.

Week 34 Feb. 29-Mar. 4

Matthew 13:15

For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

Week 35 Mar. 5-11

Numbers 6:24-27

The Lord bless you, and keep you:
The LORD make His Face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you:

And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.

Week 36 March 12-18

Job 18:17-21

His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street.

He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.

He shall neither have son nor nephew among his people, nor any remaining in his dwellings.

They that come after him shall be astonied at his day, as they that went before were affrighted.

Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, and this is the place of him that knows not God.

Week 37 March 19-25

Zechariah 10:1-2

Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.

For the idols have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie, and have told false dreams; they comfort in vain: therefore they went their way as a flock, they were troubled, because there was no shepherd.

Week 38 March 26-April 1

Lamentations 1:18-22

The LORD is righteous; for I have rebelled against his commandment: hear, I pray you, all people, and behold my sorrow: my virgins and my young men are gone into captivity.

I called for my lovers, but they deceived me: my priests and mine elders gave us the ghost in the city, while they sought their meat to relieve their souls.

Behold, O LORD; for I am in distress: my bowels are troubled; mine heart is turned within me; for I have grievously rebelled: abroad the sword bereaveth, at home there is as death.

They have heard that I sigh: there is none to comfort me: all mine enemies have heard of my trouble; they are glad that you have done it: you will bring the day that you have called, and they shall be like unto me.

Let all their wickedness come before you; and do unto them, as you have done unto me for all my transgressions: for my sighs are many and my heart is faint.

Week 39 April 2-8

Ezekiel 36:24

And I will sanctify My great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which you have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, says the Lord God, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

They spend their days in wealth, and in a moment go down to the grave.

What is the Almighty, that we should serve him? and what profit should we have, if we pray unto him?

Week 41 April 15-21

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Week 42 April 22-29

Psalm 78:1-4

Give ear, O my people to my law: incline your ears to the words of my mouth.
I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:
Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us.

We will not hide them from their children, showing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he has done.

Week 43 April 30 - May 6

Revelation 22:17-21

And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that hears say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
For I testify unto every man that hears the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
He which testifies these things says, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
