On to another white lie about the Bible!
Do Christians Really Exist?
Well.. according to the Bible, NO.
Let’s first look at the Scripture to show I’m just not making things up!
Acts 11:26
26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
Ok, so we see that they were first labeled as “Christians” in Antioch. Therefore, “Christian” is just a label, and not a name given of God!
Let’s continue on.
Just the way this world is, we label stuff.
That’s the only way we can set things apart from each other from knowing what is left, and what is right!
For example, we all know what McDonald’s is because of the way it’s labeled, or “branded”.
How about Beatstruggles?
How would I be able to brand/advertise my website without having a logo?
People would say:
“Hey! Have you checked out that music website?” — “No, what’s it called”. “Uhmm.. I’m not sure, but it had unique content!”.
So that is the reason we as humans brand/label stuff. For the fact of easy conversation. To cut out the long sentences and say “Christian” instead of saying “That person who follows God’s Son Jesus” (or something along those lines 
).
What Were “Christians” Labeled Before “Christian”?
The Bible tells us they were “Followers of the Way”. (Again, branding/labeling to let people know what they are talking about rather than with a long sentence ).
Acts 9:2
2 And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.
And one more!
Acts 22:4
4 And I persecuted this way unto the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women.
So we can see they were labeling Christians, “The Way/This Way”, before they finally labeled them Christians.
And my guess for Christian is.. because they are followers of the Christ.
Now This is Where The Trouble Comes In!
How many religions are labeled as “Christian”.
Catholic, Anglican, Lutheran, Methodist, Seventh Day Adventist, Baptist, Pentecostal.. that’s a lot already..
And you see, if you do research, you can find out that there were arguments and fights over scripture, which resulted in new religions.
Many of them changing the scriptures to steal God’s promises from us.
So.. what is the Proper way to label a follower of Christ?
Well I guess just that.. “That man/women is a follower of Christ”.
EVEN JESUS WAS LABELED!
Matthew 11:19
19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.
Many times labels come from “lack of knowledge”, which we should all know:
Hosea 4:6
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…”
The Moral of the White Lie:
Follow Jesus, and not man.
Religion = Man.
Freedom, Forgiveness of Sins, and Overwhelming Love = Jesus.
Luke 9:23
23 “And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.”
White Lie Exposed.
The only thing God labels us is His Child if you are born again from repenting from your sins!
