Hey Everyone,

So my real name is Riley, my artist name is GratuiTous, and I live in Canada B.C.  I started up this website to promote my music and help others out when they literally are “struggling” with their beats.  I am a Christian artist living for Christ as you can hear through my music.

Before Jesus,

I was just your average sinner, living life on the road to death.  Wasted many hours playing video games, smoking weed, and trying to be that somebody I really wasn’t.

Christ has come in and set me free from it all.  He has pulled me away from “the lusts of the world” and has shown me that I am satisfied in Him alone.

I started smoking pot in grade 9, which eventually lead me to barely going to a class not high.  Although I was able to keep decent grades it was definitely dragging me down in the long run.  After high school, I got in to selling weed which eventually lead me to Christ.

After high school I had 3 jobs.  My mind was set on all the wrong thoughts, ideas, and motives.  I worked at a grocery store, landscaped, and my best income was through selling weed.  I joined a fun league of football when everything changed.  I popped my left knee out of place which left me not being able to work at the grocery store or landscaping, but I was still able to sell weed.  I went on for a couple months selling weed cause it didn’t require real “work” of lifting, and barely having to walk.  I used to skateboard and snowboard tons which totally slowed me down and gave me a lot of time to think.

It was until one day I went out and received a phone call from my parents telling me that they found all my money from selling weed!  I went home and had a huge talk with my parents which was pretty intense in itself.  It slowed me down from selling weed, but didn’t stop my sinful ways of living when it came to smoking weed, drinking, and girls.

Through all the partying, I felt that something wasn’t right with my wiener, something deep inside which was my prostate.  So I went to the doctor a few times and ended up getting medicine that fixed nothing.  Finally after half a year I was sent to a specialist which had to shove a camera up my wiener, one of the most awkward experiences of my life.  The doctor could find nothing and said that, “If I continue to masturbate everything will be fine”.  I knew these were not the WORDS from God, so I rejected those words and looked to Christ.

God has used these things in my life to bring me to my lowest point.  It was in my deepest times that God came to me, He cornered me in, I gave in and accepted His love.

I now want to glorify the LORD and share His Good News to all those who are in need of a Savior!
